A seven-member National Consensus Commission has been constituted. The president of which is the chief advisor of the interim government. Muhammad Yunus. The head professor of the Constitution Reform Commission is the vice president. Ali Riyaz.

Cabinet Secretary on Wednesday. A notification signed by Sheikh Abdur Rashid has been issued.

The members of the commission are - Public Administration Reform Commission Chief Abdul Mueed Chowdhury, Police Reform Commission Chief Safar Raj Hossain, Electoral Reform Commission Chief Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar,Justice Department Reform Commission Chief Justice Emdadul Haque and Anti-Corruption Commission Reform Commission Chief Dr. Iftekharuzzaman. It has been informed that this commission will start working from February 15.

According to the notification, the commission will consider the recommendations of the commissions formed for reforms in electoral system, police, judiciary, public administration, constitution and anti-corruption issues and discuss with political parties and forces to form a national consensus ahead of the upcoming elections.The office of the Commission shall be determined by the Government; The term of the commission will be 6 (six) months from the date of commencement and the office of the Chief Adviser will provide secretarial support to the commission, the notification said.
